Workshop at De Haan Gallery Deia Mallorca

At the end of September, I had the wonderful opportunity to teach a hand-building class at the De Haan Gallery in Deia Mallorca. This time it was again a wonderful experience. For me, the beauty in teaching hand-building is the connection with others. It is coming together to not only learn but to experience from each other. Not only can I teach others but I can also learn from my participants.

The Gallery is a special place to teach and to learn. In between the Tramuntana Mountains there is this beautiful Art-village Deia and in there the gallery that sats in a wonderful old building - the studio with a view into the mountains. The place literally forces creativity on you. It is almost impossible to avoid the urge to do something with your hands. The need to touch clay and to create something in this place, comes instantly for me.
