This beautiful Matcha Cup is made with white claybody and elaborate beige inlay patterns. It is glazed transparently inside. After firing process is finished, the cup was sanded to become smooth and comfortable to hold. Every cup is made by hand in slap technique and is therefore unique.
The beauty in inlay technique is, to decorate only with clay, to keep the raw beauty of it and underlines ist. The play with contrast is what I like the most with this technique.
